In July 2026 we collected and classified 3,163 posts from four AI app builder communities on Reddit, one by one, using the same criteria for all of them. Here is what came out of the 994 posts in r/lovable.

47 posts about credits and cost, the single most recurring theme

The recurring themes

  • Credits and cost: 47 posts, the most cited subject of the whole community
  • Bugs: 39 posts about broken behaviour and changes that do not stick
  • Output quality: 16 posts about what the AI actually produced
  • Deploy: 13 posts about getting the result live

The pattern is not exclusive to Lovable: the other three communities we measured show the same shape, and r/lovable actually has the mildest score of the four. What the numbers describe is the stage where a prototype has to become software that a team maintains.
